Can't Beat the Beach in December!

We spend a lot of time at the beach over Christmas holiday.  Taking walks and exploring or just playing.  Lori and I take our Nooks and beach chair & snacks, the kids taking their shovels and buckets.  Most days were warm enough for the kids to wear their bathing suits and a shirt.  They run up and down the beach, jump over the waves, draw pictures in the sand, make sand angels (Fiona only) and dig. Lori & I read, but mostly chat and occasionally scare the crap out of each other when we spot dolphins.  I found sand in places I didn't know existed (mostly Fiona again), but they had so much fun and almost always fell asleep afterwards!
